Raid Shoutout

Raid Shoutout combines the Twitch shoutout command /shoutout, a custom chat message, and an optional clip overlay. You control everything centrally in the Raid Shoutout section of the dashboard.

Dashboard overview

On this page you configure manual shoutouts (!so) and auto-shoutout, plus the clip player including the OBS link and clip settings.

Shoutout & !so

  • Enable the toggle in the top right to activate the !so command in chat.
  • Under Custom shoutout message, enter the text that should be posted when !so is triggered.
  • You can use the variables listed below in the shoutout message, and also /announce or the $(ai ...) variable (if enabled).
  • Under Who can use !so you can set permissions for the command (Everyone, Subscribers, VIPs, Mods, Streamer).

Variables in the shoutout message

  • {streamer} – Display name of the streamer
  • {channel} – Twitch login
  • {link} – Direct link to the channel
  • {raiders} – Number of viewers in the raid
  • {raids} – How many times this streamer has raided you
  • {game} – Category of the raiding stream

Auto-shoutout (Premium required)

When enabled, the bot automatically sends the Twitch shoutout command /shoutout and the shoutout message after a raid. The clip player is also triggered if active. If the shoutout is on cooldown, the auto-shoutout is placed in a queue and sent automatically once the cooldown ends. You can additionally set a minimum number of viewers required to trigger the shoutout. You can also set a delay, for example so your own raid alert does not overlap with the shoutout message or the clip player.

Clip player

This lets you play a clip in your stream to directly show who raided you.

  • Enable the clip player in the top right with the toggle.
  • Choose clip type: random top clip or random latest clip.
  • Set the duration the clip player should be shown (5–60 seconds).
