Auto VIP

With Auto VIP you automatically grant VIP status via channel point redemptions. Create rules that assign VIP when a specific reward is redeemed.

On this page you manage rules, edit existing entries, and see the list of active VIPs including expiration dates.

Create rules

Choose a channel point reward as the trigger (each reward can be used in one rule only). Decide whether the redemption applies to the redeemer or as a gift. For gifts, the Twitch reward must have Viewer must enter text enabled (the target login is entered). The dashboard shows whether the input field is enabled for the reward.

Custom power-up instead of channel points

Instead of a channel point reward, you can also pick a custom power-up as the trigger – then VIP status costs bits instead of channel points. You switch between the two at the top of the rule via the source selector.

Everything else stays the same: duration, gift mode, and VIP management work identically. For gifts, the power-up must ask for viewer input so the target login can be passed along.

The three built-in Twitch power-ups (gigantify an emote, celebration, message effect) are deliberately not offered here: they are cheap and can be triggered over and over, which would make VIP status worthless fast.

VIP duration

VIPs can be granted indefinitely, for days, or for months. For days/months, enter the number (minimum 1).

VIP management

Active VIPs are shown with start date and optional end date. You can set the expiration date directly in the dashboard or set it to indefinite. VIPs can be removed manually at any time.

Notes

• Rule changes become active within about 5 minutes (bot sync).
• If no rewards are shown: check affiliate/partner status, disabled rewards, or missing permissions.
• Make sure the reward description clearly explains how gifts work.
