Discord

Discord notifications automatically post live notifications, YouTube uploads, and Twitch clips to your Discord servers - for yourself and others.

Dashboard overview

On this page you manage the Discord connection, live/shoutout alerts, and clip alerts, and set name, server, channel, message, and active status per alert.

Connection

Connect your Discord account so ByteMate can load your servers and channels. If channels are missing, refresh the Discord data or invite the bot to the server.

Live and shoutout alerts

You can enable go-live alerts for yourself and add additional Twitch streamers line by line for shoutouts. Optionally you can post YouTube uploads and livestreams. For Twitch and YouTube you can choose separate Discord channels.

Clip alerts

Clip alerts automatically post new Twitch clips to Discord. Set server, channel, and message per alert.

Messages & placeholders

You can use placeholders in messages. The most important ones:

  • Twitch/Live: {streamer}, {url}, {title}, {game}/{category}, {platform}, {type}
  • Clips: {streamer}, {title}, {creator}, {views}, {createdAt}, {url}
  • YouTube: same placeholders as above, {platform} becomes YouTube and {type} becomes upload/live.

Save

Changes only apply after Save. The status shows whether there are unsaved changes.

Notes

Discord notifications are included in ByteMate Premium. You can mention roles directly in the alert text (e.g. @Role or @everyone) and the mention will trigger as usual in Discord.
