$(setgame)

Overview

$(setgame ...) sets a new category and returns the set name.

Syntax

$(setgame CATEGORY)

Where to use it in the dashboard

You can use $(setgame ...) in Bot -> Commands, Bot -> Timer, Bot -> Chat Alerts, and Chat Automation -> Raid Shoutout, as well as in Stream Tools -> Clip Command when using a custom response template.

Notes

• The variable changes the category for anyone who may trigger the command it sits in. Set that command's permission level to Moderator unless every viewer should be able to change your category.
• If the bot is not authorized, the variable remains empty.
