Activity Feed

The activity feed is your live ticker: follows, subs, gifted subs, bits, power-ups, incoming and outgoing raids, stream start and end, and donations all arrive in one shared list, newest first.

You'll find it in the sidebar under Statistics → Activity Feed.

Turning the activity feed on

The feed is its own module and is off by default. Open Statistics → Activity Feed and click Turn on activity feed — only the channel owner can do this. Nothing is recorded before that.

You don't need to enable Statistics for it. The two modules are independent: you can run just the feed, just the statistics, or both. If you already had statistics enabled, the feed is already on and keeps everything recorded so far.

From the moment you switch it on, the bot writes down every event individually with its timestamp. Older events can't be filled in — until then they were only counted up and never stored one by one.

Entries are kept for 90 days; anything older is cleared out automatically. Switching the feed off stops the recording and deletes the entries already stored.

Using the feed

While Live is on, new events appear by themselves. When the window sits in the background, updating pauses — a forgotten second monitor won't keep polling for hours.

The filter bar hides individual event types, and Open in window breaks the feed out as a narrow popout you can park next to OBS on a second monitor.

Donations only appear if they run through ByteMate (Stripe). Ko-fi and Tipeeestream are not included.

Followbot warning and emergency alert stop

If an unusual number of follows arrives within a minute, the feed shows a warning — the typical pattern of a followbot wave. Right next to it sits Pause alerts: one click, and chat alerts and overlay notifications stop firing until you resume them. It's the same emergency switch as on the dashboard start page and as !alerts off in chat — here you just reach it without leaving the page.

Who can see the feed?

Your mods do not get the activity feed automatically. It has its own permission, off by default, because the feed also lists donations with the donor's name and amount. You can grant it under Mod permissions, where the activity feed appears under "Statistics".
